“Custom Windows”
Yeah, I’ll say.
But frankly, it isn’t the worst I have ever seen. A bit of a european GT fastback look to it. The wheels actually look pretty good for a resto-mod effect.
It is still an automatic, still banana yellow, and they are still asking most of $13K, though.

I really like it.

I don’t hate it. The wheels are bad but I don’t hate the windows.

Not bad, has a tall Pantera look to it.

Its not hideous but still a bit weird. It still beats the notchback version though.

Yes! The Mustang Grande!

“You know that Mustang with the really flat back window that you can’t see out of? Well I took one and made it flatter .”

I actually like the Mustang Grande.
I have no justification for it.
It’s just the way I was made.

That generation of Mustang had a bit of italian influence. They say italian cars don’t need mirrors or rear windows, because whatever is behind them doesn’t matter (or is losing.)

They are usually a lot more affordable so you are lucky with your liking.

Yeah I know I almost bought one for 3,000 when I found the Montego which was in much better shape and much more rare.

It’s horrible, and this is why you leave car design to the professionals. The side window has no relationship to the rear window at all and it’s painfully obvious.
Take a look at the original side window on an unmolested ‘71 folks, and you’ll see that it swoops up to meet the top line of the rear window. Yeah, that’s on PURPOSE, and it looks good. Professional design FTW. Look at the new side window on this “custom” and you’ll see it interrupts that original window relationship and adds nothing better. Not to mention putting three windows down the side of a car that only needs two.
It’s the focus on small details and the lack of looking at the overall design that marks an amateur. Ugh, no.
